Ken Forster, CEO

Ken’s business experience includes roles in various entrepreneurial and leadership positions. Prior to joining AirSage, Ken was the CEO of Plan Express, a pioneering online document management technology company serving the US and international construction industry. Ken led the development and implementation of a new go-to-market and pricing strategy to reflect the massive shift from paper to digital distribution of construction documentation. His team increased gross margins from under 25% to over 50% in under 12 months by adopting an outsourcing strategy for print fulfillment and refocusing the company on digital content management and distribution. Ken engineered the successful sale of Plan Express despite the worst economic conditions for the construction services industry in over seven decades. Prior to Plan Express, Ken was the President of BeavEx, the largest private, same-day transportation and logistics business in the United States. Focusing on disciplined execution and customer satisfaction, he drove growth in the business from $15 million per year to greater than $160 million per year, restructuring the company to a profitable, low-debt and cash-flowing enterprise in less than 24 months. In 2006, the company was named the second fastest growing private company in Georgia. Prior to BeavEx, Ken founded and was the CEO of Online Insight, a developer of CRM and business intelligence software applications, raising over $10 million in venture capital prior to its sale to private investors. Prominent industry analysts, publications, and financial analysts frequently recognized the company as a pioneer and market leader. Ken is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he was a four-year varsity track and field athlete.
